“Ingrid Abramovitch is a journalist who writes about design and architecture. A former magazine editor at House & Garden and Martha Stewart Living, she has contributed to such publications as the New York Times, Elle Decor, Cookie, the Wall Street Journal, and Departures.
The idea for her book Restoring a House in the City was inspired by her move to Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, a neighborhood filled with brownstones and their owners, who while house-proud were in constant search of information and inspiration on maintaining their antique homes.”
